Jack came out suddently after one of Jordan's trip, at first she didn't revealed to Cox that the one she was pregnant was his son but then after a lil bit, when he accepted to have care of the son as if he was his one and had choice for him the name Jack, she revealed that he was really his son. Then Jack born, a cute little born. During the serie he is 6 years old. At the time of Jack's conception, Jordan and Perry only met up a few times each week to have sex. Jordan came back to Perry when she was pregnant but told Perry that it wasn't his child. (My Fruit Cups) When she gave birth at Sacred Heart, she revealed to J.D. that it really was Perry's child, but she didn't want him to feel pressured into staying with her just because of the baby. (My Karma) When Perry discovered that he was the father, he was scared at first because he didn't think he would make a good dad. However, he quickly got over this and is now very close with Jack. Dr. Cox is worried about Jack's future sexual orientation. He has complained about Jordan taking him to ballet lessons and how she sometimes dresses him. He has also mentioned how Jack has an overbearing mother and that he has a fairly prominent lisp. Dr. Cox believes these things might cause Jack to be gay. Jordan once chose to irritate Cox by encouraging these tendencies after finding out that Cox had gotten a vasectomy without telling her His first sentence was "Daddy drinks a lot." Jennifer Dylan is the daughter of Dr. Cox and Jordan Sullivan. She was born on the day Laverne Roberts died. Dr. Cox didn't want anyone to know that Jennifer Dylan had been born on that day because he didn't want her birthday to be associated with Laverne's death. Dr. Cox had promised Jordan that he'd get well-wishers for the baby but he couldn't do it. In anger, Jordan took J.D.'s advice and named her "Jennifer Dylan" or "J.D.". She also made J.D. Jennifer Dylan's godfather, much to Dr. Cox's annoyance. (My Long Goodbye) However, Dr. Cox managed to convince Jordan to make their older son Jack Cox Jennifer Dylan's godfather instead and Carla is made Jennifer Dylan's godmother (much to J.D.'s dismay). Jennifer required an emergency surgery while still in the womb in the third trimester, she was not absorbing amniotic fluid properly and required a urinary shunt to ensure that she was clearing fluid from her lungs. Cox insisted that Turk be present during the surgery because he was prevented from doing so by hospital protocol. Following the surgery, Turk informed Cox of the success of the procedure and the sex of the baby. However, Cox was concerned that the baby would have problems during childbirth due "any baby that has surgery before birth will have problems." |
